Course Description: Capturing an image and getting the right exposure is critical and right exposure is the secret of creating image that captures vision and share it with the world. When you apply our techniques with practice, experimentation and focus on the outcome, you will begin creating images that reveal not only what you saw, but also how you felt when you saw it.
Topics include: Learning exposure controls in Point and shoot and Digital SLR, Measuring light using a in camera or external light meters, Understanding Lens apertures and depth of field, Shutter speed and subject motion, knowledge and confidence to turn off the camera’s automatic settings and take manual control, understanding natural light exposure, intricacies of light quality, light direction and time of the day, Tackling difficult exposure challenges, handling contrast and creating dramatic silhouettes. Advanced techniques on mastering night and low light photography and examine special considerations like weather and natural phenomena. |

Here is how to work with lighting, location, angle, composition, physical characteristics, environment and countless other variables, including the unique challenges of photographing babies, group activities and action. Apply these techniques and watch your subjects come to life; test your newfound skills by completing the assignments and getting feedback on your work from our mentors.
