Updated the new firmware, Really excited to test out all the new features. The first thing you have to do before you do the latest update is. You need to first get an SD card that minimum 300 MB/s transfer rate. We have one from Sony which matches the full specs to record 4k 4: 2: 2 10 bit 400 Mbit capture.

There are a lot of reasons to rejoice in regards to this update. One is that we have the new 6k Anamorphic mode.
If you guys are looking at a solution out of the Panasonic GH5 we will be a very valuable source for you.
We have a variety of solutions to go along with the GH5 including Aputure DEC Lens Regain, Anamorphic Lenses from SLR Magic to name a few. If you are looking at a complete solution around this outstanding camera we are there for you.

My First reaction after my first shoot is that when you set up a 4k 24 fps 4:2:2 10 bit 400 Mbit capture the camera eats memory cards for lunch. My two 32 GB Cards got filled up in no time. Certainly, need to invest on two more 64 GB for a single day shoot.

Also highly recommended buying two extra batteries for the GH5 as that is also a problem area.

My initial test on the Focusing part of things is very promising. Planning on doing some elaborate tests latter in this area.

Did some Green screen shoots yesterday, for an upcoming Music Video shoots for Museek mag with Audio Media Students Hevin Booster and Vasanth.
